Mari Melawat Muzium!

Ahh!! I finally have time to post again! Its been such a long long week. The first few days of my easter hols have been quite uneventful.. So i decided to pop down London for a bit. Now for some Bruneians, they'd think "Eh, mun ganya Lundun, alum lagi eventful tu.. Boring ada lah.." Now, while I agree that London can be quite dull sometimes, but I seriously appreciate the fact that its such a busy and bustling city.. The buildings, the sheer amount of people and the ridiculously constipated traffic are all trademarks of this city some of us call home. I went to London mainly just to get away from Gillingham. I needed a change in enviroment badly. Gillingham is a small town and it is very very serene area. London on the other hand is almost always alive with people (di Gillingham atu sunyi nyanta eh.. Sundays its almost a ghost town..)

SO, i went with Sofi, katanya ia kan lawat national gallery pasal kana recommend for Fine Art students to go there. Kami jumpa di Victoria station sebab Sofi ani first time ke London since arriving in October. So aku teach lah ia ani cana pakai tube and stuff. I was so flabbergasted when i found tat a single tube ride costs frickin 4 pounds udah!! It was 3pounds last January. Ugh.. teruk inflasi sini ani eh.. When we got to Brunei Hall (headquarters ku!!) we just rested for 10ish minutes and tarus ku bawa si Sofi jalan ke Oxford street.. I just loved how the city was at night. Sunyi and peaceful with lit up buildings.. The weather was on our side as well with occasional cool breezes. When we reached niketown, we headed back to Brunei Hall before heading back out to hve dinner at Nahar. Ok lah makanan nya sana.. Nyaman lagi Malaysian Hall or Mawar. When we got to Brunei hall (for the third time that night), called my friend Diyana anak Cikgu Ibrahim to see if her offer to show me around London was still valid.

The next day, we met up with her and we went to the Science Museum. Siuk lah sana atu, macam macam info ada and it was really interesting. We were there for 3 hours and we still couldnt finish going around the museum!! We also went to Chinatown in Picadilly and this coOoOoOoOl bookshop called Forbidden Planet. Unfortunately, when we wanted to get back to Brunei Hall, we got stuck in traffic for one and half hours.. That sucked...

The next day, kami aga National Gallery pulang. Our guide this time was Asyura. I didnt think looking at paintings was gonna be too interesting but it turns out to be quite a fun!! Here are some pics i took at the Science Museum and the National Gallery:

Spoil bini bini ah.. Asi asi ia masuk shot ani..

In the bus where we waited ONE AND A HALF HOURS to reach Brunei Hall!!
We had so much fun lah those two days in London, educational and fun! I even wanted to stay longer di London for opening of the Primark in Oxford Street. But i heard it was so crowded and ada people even pacah kan one of the display windows. Bah, adang ku dulu eh. Peace!
